Robert Hall is an eclectic and unique space located in the heart of the Industry Hill neighborhood of Winton Salem, NC. This venue has a rich history and offers you and your guests a chance to leave your own imprint on the location. Perfect for weddings and other celebrations, Robert Hall provides a romantic and exciting backdrop for your special day.
Robert Hall was built as a doctor's office in the early 1900s; since then, it has gone through many iterations, including a cafe, a sign shop, and a metal workshop. Owners Christy and Will Spencer hoped to transform the venue into a gathering space that reflected the building's long history. Robert Hall was born from this desire and passion for local history and exciting celebrations.
This venue has three distinct event spaces which can be combined or used separately for your wedding. These spaces include the trendy Capone's bar, the spacious Vault, and the dreamy outdoor Garden; Robert Hall is an excellent choice if you are looking for a venue with an indoor-outdoor flow. The Vault is the largest event space at 2500 square feet, encompassing the first floor. The original industrial look was preserved with plenty of exposed brick and wood found throughout the space, an element that is bound to stand out in your wedding photos. Capone's Bar is tucked in on the second floor of this historical building and can be found behind a set of original 1920s brass doors. This space incorporates a tin roof, natural light, and an incredible mahogany bar said to have come from one of Al Capone's hangouts. The Garden is another space available for you and your guests. It offers beautiful natural touches, and a wishing well where, together, you can wish for a happy, healthy, and loving marriage.

As a Winston-Salem native, Kristopher Walter has excelled in hospitality since his days pursuing an undergraduate degree at East Carolina University.
