Royal Gorge Mansion is a historic mansion wedding venue located in Cañon City, Colorado. This richly-appointed 19th-century venue offers you an opulent setting for your wedding celebrations. The team here are set on ensuring that you have an unforgettable day.

Facilities and Capacity

The mansion hosts up to 150 guests for indoor or outdoor weddings on their four acres of property. You will be able to utilize the on-site Carriage House. The venue offers several ceremony and reception sites, including a grand veranda, gazebo, grounds, and fountain.

Wedding events that are hosted at Royal Gorge Mansion include engagement parties, bridal showers, elopements, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. The starting site fee covers the rental of event space, get-ready rooms, and parking. All-inclusive packages are available and consist of event planning, event rentals, vendor referrals, accommodation, bar services, and catering services. Available event rentals include chairs, decor, and centerpieces. In addition, set up and clean up of event spaces are included. The peak season for this venue is from April to October.

Cuisine

The venue can offer a variety of catering options, including cocktail receptions, buffets, plated dinners, stations, and hors d’oeuvres. The Carriage House Catering will be able to host buffets and beverage services.

Being proud partners of the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, this venue offers guests the option to charter cars or reserve seats. For your rehearsal dinner or guest experience, you may take a train through the Royal Gorge itself. History

This building was originally known as the Robinson Mansion, designed with Second-Empire styles and completed in 1884. All windows and doors are capped with Berlin stone, including the front and back two-story bay windows. Whether an Austrian chandelier, a Honduran mahogany three-story staircase, or a fireplace from Italy, the furnishings in the mansion are of the very highest quality. With a listing on the National Registry of Historic Places, this mansion offers distinct architectural beauty.

The mansion is nestled in the scenic Royal Gorge Region of Colorado, within easy driving distance of several forests and mountains. It is a 45-minute drive southwest of Colorado Springs and a two-hour drive from Denver.
