Let's have a moment of honesty here. You've made it the Biz Information page, things are getting a little more serious between us, so I guess I better tell you about myself, for better or for worse.

Q: Is your name really Royce? But you're not a 57 year old white guy from the south or an NBA player.

A: Yep, I'm woman in her 30's named Royce, legally give name I've come to love. Unless there's someone named Bryce in the same room as me, then I think they're talking to me. How do people with common names deal with that?! To all the Jennifer's out there, I'm sorry you deal with that hourly.

Q: Why should we hire you, when there's literally hundreds of wedding photographers?

A: I'm a nerd for weddings, cool camera equipment, and making sure people are at ease to capture beatutiful, honest moments on their wedding day. I've photographed over 200 weddings over 15 years and I still can't get enough of them. I know I'm a lucky fool to have found what I love so early in life and not lost the fever for it.

Q: What advice would you give your best friend planning a wedding?

A: Hire people you can trust, not just the least expensive option. Schedule time in your big day for hugs on your mom, your sister, and your new groom. Have your wedding dinner be your favorite food. And order an album! I don't know what comes after harddrives and the cloud, but a book will always be a book and your kids will fight over it after you're gone.
