Our ceremony was beautiful and perfect, but getting married at Saint Paul’s is a bit of work. You need to meet with Father Nestor 6 times before your wedding and participate in a pre cana weekend. That being said, it was worth it. Father Nestor is a great guy and he is very interesting to chat with. We truly enjoyed our meetings with him and really appreciated getting to know him as our wedding approached. It was great to have someone we got to know well up there with us while we said our vows.

The wedding coordinator is another story. While very friendly and helpful on the phone prior to our rehearsal/ceremony, she was abrasive and offensive to several members of our family and bridal party during our rehearsal and ceremony. We all felt very stressed during the rehearsal and we all left feeling very tense. She yelled at my father and I as we walked up the steps right before the ceremony telling us to link arms- holding a heavy bouquet and a dress and walking up several stairs does not allow for a picture perfect moment like she was hoping for. Additionally, she was very bothered by the fact that we wanted our 11-year-old nephew to carry our actual wedding rings. She did not want to be flexible on this point, but we did not concede and thus were able to have him carry them and everything went perfectly.
