Samantha Bolk, even though she is young, has been working in professional photography for the past 7 years. She started off with landscapes and wildlife and has moved up to babies and weddings. She started Samantha Bolk photography after being laid off for a year and a half; she decided to put her talent to good use. She loves shooting with her Canon EOS Rebel XS; using digital technology gives her the ability to get the photos to her clients quicker and gives her more creative freedom.
Dan Bowkley has been an avid photographer since he was big enough to pick up his mom's camera...about 25 years ago. Aside from being the technical guru behind sbphoto.us (it's all done by hand in Notepad, in case you're wondering), Dan loves working with the commercial side of photography. Product photos, architectural work, landscapes...if it doesn't move, Dan will happily shoot it. A traditionalist at heart, he still prefers film over digital but is slowly coming around to "the dark side" of digital photography.
