Sawgrass Country Club is a private, member-owned country club; please note we are only able to host weddings, rehearsal dinners and showers for our members.
Uniquely situated in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Sawgrass Country Club offers many options for your special day. With two beautiful Clubhouses, members can take advantage of an oceanfront view or a golf course view for their ceremony and reception. Established in 1977, Sawgrass Country Club carries many memories including being theo original home for the TPC Championship. The team looks forward to making your wedding weekend everything you dreamed it to be.
Facilities and Capacity
Sawgrass Country Club boasts picturesque indoor and outdoor spaces. Recently opened in 2021, the Clubhouse features a grand porte-coshere which leads to four tastefully structured modern room that are flooded with natural light and views of the 27-hole golf course. A beautiful Terrace attaches to all room offering an outdoor option and view for guests to enjoy the sunset. This venue is able to accommodate guest lists up with up to 200 for a seated reception and up to 350 for an hor's d'oeuvres reception. Sawgrass Country Club hosts wedding showers, engagement parties, ceremonies, and receptions.
- Ceremonies:
- Beach Club: The Beach Club offers two wedding ceremony areas including the Beach (permit is required through the county) and Oceans Edge Deck. The Deck carries a capacity of 60 guests.
- Clubhouse: The Clubhouse has many indoor options including the beautiful Miller Room which showcases a 180-degree view of the outdoors. The Clubhouse also features an outdoor option on the course (only available during certain seasons and certain times)
- Receptions
- Beach Club: Oceans Edge South is a perfect location for a small intimate wedding reception of 20-25 guests. This room can also be utilized for rehearsal dinners and showers accommodating up to 40 guests.
- Clubhouse: The Clubhouse features a large ballroom with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the 27-hole golf course. Additionally, the four spaces can be used for various events through the weekend. Each room offers a different capacity when utilized separately making them perfect for rehearsal dinner, showers, and farewell brunches.

Jessica grew up in Palm Beach, Florida and spent most of her youth competing in competitions with the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) specializing in hospitality while gaining experience on the side in the world of food and beverage. She began her career in Clubs at a very young age with the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club. She began her education in Gainesville, Fl. studying Business Administration and Hospitality. Through her years of education, she found the best way to learn was to excel with hands-on training. She climbed the ladder of management during this time, achieving her goal of Assistant Food and Beverage Director at Gainesville Golf and Country Club. It was there that her experience led her in a new direction, the world of events and weddings. From a young age, Jessica was exposed to the lavish world of events through her family’s work. Visiting captivating venues including The Breakers Hotel, Mar-a-Lago, Naples Grande, and the Long Boat Key Club. She combined her experience with food and beverage operations and her newfound passion to create memorable experiences for members through important events in their lives. At this time, she transitioned over to the Catering Manager at the Gainesville Golf and Country Club, which led her to Jacksonville, Fl. taking on a new challenge with a social Club, Florida Yacht Club.
She received multiple awards through the wedding platforms for numerous years, showcasing her talents and growth in the industry. It was Jessica’s dream to return to the world of golf Clubs which led her to her home, Sawgrass Country Club as the Director of Catering.
Jessica is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Pursuing her education in Tallahassee, Florida, she graduated with a bachelor’s in hospitality and tourism. While obtaining her education, she spent her summers beginning her career with the Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa gaining knowledge in various areas of the hotel. After graduating, Jessica joined the Sawgrass Country Club family in the food and beverage department. While absorbing all the country club life has to offer, Jessica found her passion in creating memorable moments for the membership by creating event memories that will last a lifetime. She transitioned over to the Catering Office and leads a portion of the department as the Catering Coordinator. Jessica enjoys surfing, gardening and spending time with her favorite pup, Blu.
