The Seahorse Room of the Beach Haven Fire Department is a recently-renovated event space available to rent year-round for weddings, engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, baptisms & christenings, receptions, family & class reunions, birthday parties, quintessences, graduation celebrations, memorial services or any special event. Located in the heart of downtown Beach Haven on Long Beach Island (LBI), the affordable and convenient venue is a short walk from the beach, historic inns, B&Bs, hotels, restaurants, nightlife and other attractions.

These guys are the BEST!! While this venue is more casual than some of those other LBI reception locations, Beach Haven VFD was perfect for what I wanted - a casual, relaxed, fun atmosphere. The guy in charge of hall rentals right now, Jim Bradshaw, is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet! He gave me the keys to the place 3 days before my wedding so that we could get in there and decorate, and let us wait until the day after to go in and clean up! The hall has been recently remodeled with lovely wall sconces all around, and NO trophy cases or fire department "stuff"! My caterer loved the kitchen, and my bartenders loved the pass-through window off the kitchen, which kept everything tidy and organized! I highly recommend this place if you want an affordable, DIY wedding!!
