How it all started

Hey! I'm Lauren Cirkot, the proud owner of Seven Continents born from making candles as holiday presents in 2023. Before I knew it, friends and family were urging me to sell them. I had a blast experimenting with fragrance oils and soon discovered a fun new hobby. There were signs all around me to start this business, so I took the leap in April 2024. If you know me, I relate everything to travel, and so this business HAD to be travel related.

My passion for travel

My love for travel began with my first trip to Europe in December 2014, visiting Amsterdam, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Before I knew it I had visited 30+ countries, 6 continents, and then moving to Valencia, Spain for a year in 2019. (I'm no where near done yet!)

The question I hear most is, "Where's your next trip, Lauren?" Now, I get to share my adventures in a unique way through Seven Continents.

The inspiration

Travel inspires me everyday. It's all I think about, dream about. I constantly recommend vacations to people. I realize not everyone has the privilege of traveling abroad, but so many people want to, and Seven Continents is just one way they can do that. I wanted to create products that bring the world to you. Even if you can't visit a place, I want you to feel like you have experienced even an ounce of a place and can explore destinations through scent.

Why we are low-tox

Living in Europe opened my eyes to the differences in quality of life and regulations, especially regarding everyday items like skincare, food, and household items. They ban 1,000+ more chemicals than the U.S. It was important to me to make products that were high-quality and close to European standards. By using eco-friendly and sustainable, resuable products, we can help the earth stay beautiful and allow generations to come to enjoy the beautiful cultures, countries, and continents around the world.

Each of our products is lovingly handcrafted in small batches in Ansonia, Connecticut, ensuring unmatched attention to detail and quality. As a one-woman show, I take pride in creating unique, artisanal candles and fragrances that reflect both my passion for travel and dedication to craftsmanship.
