Experience
Owner Vongie Newman has been sewing ever since she got her first sewing machine at 14. She’s a member of the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals (ASDP), American Sewing Guild (ASG), The Haute Couture Club of Chicago, and West Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce (WAACC) which have given her a plethora of knowledge. Vongie designs and constructs garments that meet the standards of quality for custom clothing that are endorsed by ASDP.

Services Offered
Sew More Couture is available by appointment only and can help find or make gowns and dresses for brides, bridesmaids, flower girls, and mothers of the couple. The shop is a certified retailer for MacDuggal, Johnathan Kanye, Terani Couture, Dave and Johnny, Bonny Bridal, Benjamin Walk, and J.L. Johnson. Depending on the item, the dresses may be final sale, able to be exchanged, or offer a partial refund. Sew More Couture is able to offer clients a 6-month turnaround time on their bridal gowns. If you aren’t able to find something you love, the team may be able to custom fit an item for you.
