SHARC was a fabulous place to have our wedding reception. Melanie Saunders was the contact for the wedding and was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the year leading up to the big day. The space is absolutely lovely. We only used half of the hall as we had a small group (40 guests) but it was perfect. We also paid extra to have access to the balcony and have some tables set up. One of the high points was their accommodation for someone in a wheelchair. There was parking available for my aunt who is in a wheelchair and made sure that she was able to easily access the room and restrooms. For those of you who want an outdoor ceremony setting, they have a lovely set up on site as well. The inside is beautiful with washrooms for guests, a lovely sitting space in the lobby and it is air conditioned. SHARC was clean and comfortable for everyone. The cost of this venue is extremely reasonable. They will let you use the tables and chairs, there is access to the kitchen for a small fee, an option to add the balcony. You can rent linens through them as well (there is a minimal selection of color but we just went with white tablecloths for everything and then got our bright colored napkins and runners from Central Event Rentals). SHARC allows you to bring in your own beer and wine with the proper licensing and has bartenders on site. We wanted to have hard liquor so we hired an outside company (Twist) but everything was easy working with them and SHARC to ensure there were no issues with the liquor licensing. We highly recommend this as a venue for a wedding or an event.

We worked with Chris Harrison at the SHARC and the whole experience was a dream! Our ceremony was held in the amphitheater and the reception was inside Benham Hall. Chris was very responsive via email and phone and was able to answer our questions within 24 hours. He was also fantastic at recommending DJ services, catering, rentals, sober ride services, and a place to donate our flowers. For anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced venue in Sunriver, look no further than the SHARC!

It was a beautiful location; we had the ceremony outdoors and reception indoors, and got ready in an extra room. They did a great job on the day of, with the help of my coordinator. I was disappointed that I lost my veil and a pitcher was misplaced—it seems that the venue should have recovered those items. The venue contact was not quite as communicative as I might have liked. Overall, very nice experience—just what we had hoped for.
