Makayla has over eight years of practical makeup application experience, starting with special effects makeup in her bedroom and theater makeup in high school. She was hired by Powder Room Beauty Bar in her senior year and stayed with them until they closed their doors in 2019. Makayla decided to open Sharkey Artistry to continue offering her makeup services and has focused on wedding makeup for more than four years. Having sensory issues and very sensitive skin, this makeup artist strives to make sure every makeup application is as easy to wear for a client as possible Additionally, she uses cruelty-free products and eco-friendly practices.
