ABOUT SHANNON

Shannon Beck lived in Rolla most of her life, graduating form Rolla High School in 2000. After nearly a decade away she has returned to her hometown, bringing with her a talent for clutching precious moments with the lens of her camera.
While away she attended Missouri State University where she majored in Broadcast Journalism . It was there that she learned to tell a story from behind the camera.
Shannon's photography has been featured in several publications , and her sports photography has won awards from the Missouri Press Association.

Shannon is about giving you more for your money and capturing your wedding day memories in a way that no one else will. After reading her bio above it goes without saying that a photojournalistic style comes naturally to her. She doesn't just "offer photojournalism coverage" of your wedding; She IS a photojournalist! She has covered hundreds of events as a journalist, and just like those assignments, her mission on your wedding day will be to capture the emotion of the day and lock it up into photographs forever.
Shannon is also determined to not skimp on the posed shots. Choosing a photojournalist for your day shouldn't mean that you have to give up the more traditional aspects. In addition to all of the candid, raw, emotional images she will capture through your day she will take a wide variety of posed shots, both the traditional poses and some fun, fresh, creative poses.
