We launched Skinny Boy Films back in April 2013 and we can honestly say that we love what we do. We create beautiful, cinematic 20 minutefilms which include selected spoken audio from your ceremony and speeches.
We always shoot with 2 filmmakers as this allows us to get a greater variety of angles and shots and also allows us to literally be in two places at once.
Our approach to filmmaking is to focus on capturing honest, natural moments in a documentary style and this allows us to blend in to the background.
Simplicity and subtlety is key for us. We choose to not use lots of kit: no drones, no cranes, no steadicams; just the two of us with a camera and monopod each and a few small microphones.
As eternal people watchers, we couldn’t think of a more perfect career. We love receiving enquiries from couples who share our passion for unique wedding films and are excited about having their day immortalised in film.
