Let me say that no matter the number of positive things I say about Ashley and her awesome team in this post, it will still not describe how truly super they were for our wedding this past weekend. They catered and bartended our entire wedding weekend - a rehearsal BBQ, welcome party, wedding reception, and a Sunday brunch. Every single aspect of our experience with them was just plain easy. Ashley is unbelievably responsive to a point where it seems that she must be superhuman. Their catering options are so diverse, but all executed creatively and presented in a way that our guests just loved. Soooo many of our guests commented on the incredible food, and as I was mingling with guests during our reception dinner, I saw that plates were either empty or people were getting seconds at the buffet. I also want to mention their bartending. Wow. We had a few signature cocktails that we wanted served - a skinny margarita at our rehearsal BBQ and then a French 75 and Old Fashioned at the reception. Our guests raved about all of them. Truly excellently done and exactly what my husband and I wanted to drink! They also were able to make anything the guests requested, which was fantastic. Working with them was an easy, efficient, creative, fun process, where I didn't have to think at all. Highly recommend the great folks at Smash a million times over. Thank you for helping make that weekend the best of our lives!

Smash is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! I ended up using them for EVERYTHING - catering, desserts, florals, and planning. Each one was absolutely amazing. For catering, we went with a buffet style and everything was soooo delicious. We got so many compliments on our food, from our appetizers to the actual dinner. We specifically got MANY compliments on the steak which was incredible. We also did our desserts through them and they were AMAZING. We did multiple desserts as well as a cake, and again received so many compliments on all of them, especially the sesame cookie which had such a unique flavor profile. Ashley, who owns and runs everything, is extremely responsive and helpful. I felt like multiple times they went out of their way to accommodate me but never made it seem like a big deal. My husband wanted a very specific type of hot dog for the late night snack, and they were able to do those. They helped to come up with mocktail ideas and the signature drinks they made were amazing. It was also very easy to book my plates, silverware, etc through them as well. My florals were gorgeous - I was not somebody who came in with anything very specific for florals, and what they created with very little guidance from me was beautiful. Finally, Dominique (planning) is amazing. She is the perfect mix of relaxed but directive. I never once felt rushed or lost or stressed, which I think is a true testament to her character, style, and actual planning. I was initially hesitant to book everything through them because it seemed too good to be true. But I have absolutely 0 regrets and I would do it 1000 times over. Thank you Smash to helping to put together the best night of my life.

WOW! What can I say! Ashley and the entire team at smash events went above and beyond for my May 4th, 2024 wedding. We went with Smash for our catering, baker for desserts and florals and we wouldn’t have it any other way. From the very beginning, Ashley made the entire wedding planning process perfect. She is so easy to talk to and the communication skills are stellar. She was always there to ease my nerves and played an essential part in our big day.

Here are some mini reviews for each service:

Catering:
Three weeks later and I am still getting so many complements on the food served. From the appetizers, to salads to main dishes everything was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. I had many guests take picture of their plates because they looked to perfect to eat. The table set up was also provided. They had the cutest antique plates and amber water goblets that complemented the theme. The serving staff was on top of it and friendly throughout. We even received a goodie bag full of Asheville snacks that was an amazing surprise!

Desserts:
The cake was amazing!! Our baker Cay was so friendly during our tasting. We did the vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing and it was so good. Smash added florals to top the cake that fit perfectly!

Florals:
Smash literally made my Pinterest vision come alive!!!! We were aiming for a woodsy antique meets folklore vibes and smash killed it. All decorations were included with the price and when I say all decor I mean ALL decor. There were terrariums, antique books, brass candles, cloche jars, etc. which were all provided. I could not believe that I did not have to provide almost any decorations because they had me covered. Everything was so unique and exactly what I was looking for. Our bouquet and boutonnières were to die for. The team really hit every single look we were going for. I could not have imagined changing a single thing.

I HIGHLY recommend Smash to anyone. Utilizing them for all three services made everything so easy and convenient. My only regret was not using Smash for their planning services because that would have been the icing on the cake.
