Society 57 is a re-imagined historic wedding venue located in downtown Aurora, Illinois. Newly opened in October 2019, this venue accomodates small and mid-size wedding receptions in a unique urban setting. The restored historical building exhibits a commitment to celebrating the past while also displaying contemporary design and decorative elements. Located along the banks of the Fox River, Society 57 provides scenic views with open air options overlooking the river in warm weather.

With 4,000 square feet of flexible event space, couples can create the wedding celebration of their dreams, down to every last essential detail. For rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, and engagement parties, Society 57 offers a versatile location to suit a range of event requirements. For receptions and ceremonies, the building provides a trendy and comfortable place to exchange vows or dance the night away. A cocktail style set-up will accomodate 250 guests, while dinner reception seating has a maximum capacity of 150. An upscale lounging area beside a modern bar gives wedding guests the opportunity to socialize and relax before, after, or during the main events of the day. A 2,500 square-foot coffee house is an available addition to hosted celebrations. Multiple photoshoot spots that feature the venue’s structure, the river, and the nearby cityscape, allow couples to capture special wedding day moments.
