The hair and makeup team was great! I 100% would recommend doing a trial with them as well to ensure you walk through what you want and can walk around with it on for a day. First, the makeup. I almost never wear makeup so I was very nervous to see what I would look like with so much on. They used an airbrush technique that actually made everything look so smooth and clean and natural. I really went in with very little direction to give them and they offered excellent recommendations that would just elevate my natural looks. During our trial run, I did try on their fake lashes and actually loved them! My husband said he couldn’t even tell I was wearing them! We were on the dancefloor all night and were very sweaty by the end of the event and my makeup was still intact! I had cried multiple times, stood in the heat, ate food, and danced, and the makeup still looked flawless. Now the hair. I knew that I wanted a half up half down style with my shorter hair with lots of curls. The challenging part was incorporating my headband so that it would stay on my head all night. They tried a style for the trial run and we made some mental notes about adjustments wanted. They easily accommodated those requests on the day of and the headband was very secure all night, even with all the dancing! We also added an additional helper on the day so we could start hair and makeup a little later in the morning. This was very easy to do and a reasonable price. The girls were great and fit right in with the nervous energy of the morning!

Southern Sirens did hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and the two mothers. I would highly recommend them. They do phenomenal work at a great price as well. They are extremely personable and had a great system down to get everyone done on time. Everyone looked beautiful and I am so glad we booked with them!

The team at Southern Sirens was incredible. They were such a fun and light-hearted presence to have around during the getting ready part of our wedding day! They were easy to work with, totally understanding when one of us totally changed our minds about what we wanted for HMU on the day-of, and supportive of our LGBTQ+ wedding and party. Both of our hairstyles and makeup looks lasted the whole day and night (even with lots of crying and high winds!). Definitely a fun to be around, personable, and easy-going team!
