Spectrum Band is a variety dance band in St. Louis, Missouri that specializes in weddings! This group of talented performers is celebrating 27 years as a band performing exclusively in the greater St. Louis area. They have received The Knot's “Best of Weddings” and WeddingWire's "Couple's Choice” awards for nine consecutive years. They love entertaining couples with their energetic, professional performances. Services Offered
Spectrum Band provides wedding packages to suit all styles, budgets, and musical preferences. Their most popular format is as a nine-piece band featuring horns, vocals, and percussion. These experts can provide custom setlists and band arrangements for your ceremony, reception, cocktail reception, and dinner music. They also have a sophisticated stage design to enhance the overall experience for your guests and complement any venue size. Conveniently, Spectrum Band can also perform as a smaller 7- piece group. This setup feature male and female vocals and saxophone, along with a rhythm section to provide a wide array of music to keep your dance floor packed. Depending on the size of the venue and expected guest count, Spectrum Band is available as a full band or in smaller formats of 7, 6, or 5 pc band with our Limited Production Package (please schedule a consultation to discuss in more detail). Also, when you choose Spectrum Band, emcee services, continuous playback music during times when the band isn't playing, and use of our wireless microphones for speeches and toasts are always FREE! Regardless of whether you choose the nine-piece or the seven-piece group, or a smaller format, your guests will surely be complimenting you on your choice of entertainment for your wedding.
New for 2024, Spectrum Band presents Spectrum Jazz Ensemble. This group is derived from members of Spectrum Band and performs traditional jazz classics along with jazz inspired interpretations of songs from multiple styles of music to create an enjoyable and accessible live music experience with a sophisticated flair. Multiple formats and options are available.

The band took our song suggestions and turned out two epic sets. The fact that the band can cover Sinatra to MJ to RHCP is a masterclass is making it happen. We danced hard, the band jammed, and it will be a night I'll never forget! Absolutely a five-star band.

"I had the distinct pleasure last night of photographing the Spectrum Band during their performance at the Coronado Ballroom in St. Louis, Mo. The music was absolutely superb, the atmosphere electric, and I had a front row seat! Spectrum Band is a professional 9-piece variety dance band that specializes in wedding receptions, corporate parties and public events in the St. Louis, Mo area; and, they have been doing it for over 20 years. I have to say; when I say they are good, I mean they are good! - As in REALLY REALLY GOOD! I could not recommend them highly enough for any event, especially weddings. Tim Callihan, the band leader, drummer and one of the original members, and I had been corresponding for several weeks on the subject of weddings and receptions. During the course of those conversations, Tim mentioned that they were needing some updated images for the website, and wanted to know if I was interested in shooting them. As it turned out, we had the time available and I have a policy to never turn down the opportunity to work with the best; and that is exactly what Spectrum Band is, the best.
