About
Located in Petoskey, Michigan, Stafford's Bay View Inn is a beautiful wedding venue with plenty of charm and history. Built in 1886 by John Wesly Howard and then known as the Woodland Avenue House, it began as a summer hotel, quickly becoming a community staple. Since then, Stafford's Bay View Inn has gone through a number of owners and name changes, eventually settling on its current name in 1935.
Facilities and Capacity
Weddings at Stafford's Bay View Inn can take place both indoors and outdoors. Most couples begin their day with a ceremony in the Rose Garden Veranda, a beautiful garden space with a conservatory that can accommodate up to 50 people and unforgettable views of Lake Michigan. Larger ceremonies, up to 225 guests, can be accommodated in a tent on the lawn. Once the couple has exchanged their "I Do's," they can move into one of the indoor reception areas; these include the H.O. Rose Dining Room, the Lobby Bar, and the elegant Lewis Street Porch.
