Located a half-mile off the road in peaceful Galway, NY, Star Farm Blueberries is the perfect place for couples who want that casual, country wedding feel, without the long drive to the country. Star Farm is a 20-minute drive from the horse racing, culture and nightlife of historic Saratoga Springs, and less than 45 minutes from Albany.

When you turn down the unpaved drive, you'll be led through the trees to a large opening, the centerpiece of which is a 2,500-bush blueberry field. Couples with smaller weddings (60 people or fewer) can opt to hold their ceremony at the gazebo in the middle of the field itself, or in the grassy area next to the field. Star Farm's farm store, the center of blueberry-selling operations, transforms into a beautiful area for a cocktail hour and/or reception, complete with a kitchen and bathroom.

If you continue along the driveway, which wraps around the blueberry field, you'll pass by a quaint pond and find yourself in another clearing.This is where larger wedding parties (60 people and more) can celebrate. There's room for a large tent, and has an outdoor ceremony space as well as the "Boogie Barn"—a building with a stage, music hookups and dancefloor. A nearby firepit is the perfect place to wind down at the end of the night.

Lastly, the Honeymoon Suite is for couples looking to extend their special day to the next morning. Buried deep in the woods, this primitive structure is a cozy oasis with a bed, a wood stove and not much else. Up to 20 guests are also welcome to camp out overnight.
