People say that wedding days are supposed to be perfect. My wedding weekend May 17-18, 2024 in NYC was so far beyond perfection. The two days at the Union League Club and Metropolitan Club felt like heaven on earth, and my husband, our families, and I cannot even begin to thank Jeff Stillwell enough for bringing the wedding beyond our wildest dreams to life (all on time and on budget!)

I hired Jeff for full-service planning a year and a half before our wedding, and aside from choosing to marry my spouse, hiring Jeff is one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. I had interviewed ~5 top wedding planners in the city, and Jeff was my last interview of the day. As anyone who has ever interviewed with me would tell you, I am not an easy interviewer. I ask tough questions and probe for specific examples. Jeff answered all my questions flawlessly and then some, but not only that, I could tell right off the bat that Jeff had a heart of gold. I was so impressed with his resume (prior to starting Stillwell Events, Jeff was Director of Events for 20+ years for some of the most prestigious venues in New York City, including Rainbow Room, Pier Sixty, Windows on the World), but beyond that, I could tell that Jeff would put his whole heart into creating my dream wedding. Jeff and I clicked right away, and it was magic from the start.

Jeff was there with me literally EVERY step of the way, and went above and beyond to ensure that BOTH my groom-to-be and I had the best wedding weekend ever. From sending me rehearsal dinner dress suggestions a year out from our wedding, to sharing a personalized month-by-month checklist to ensure my fiancé and I stayed on top of and AHEAD of our tasks, to recommending that I purchase a tennis bracelet or borrow one so that my wrist would have just the right amount of sparkle (thank you, Jeff!!), to going with my groom-to-be to his tux fittings, to making the time to talk with me about more than just wedding planning (life is still happening when you’re planning a wedding!), to offering to be a sounding board for our vows, to coming with me to my final dress fitting at Kleinfeld (such a special moment!) and helping my mom with the bustle, to helping my fiancé to transport a ton of boxes and bags of items (e.g., favors, card box, guest book, getting ready items, etc.) to our venue, to holding my hand right before I walked down the aisle, Jeff was ALWAYS ready with all the solutions, with that lovely smile and sweetest Southern accent.

One of Jeff’s wedding planning philosophies is that “there are no do-overs” and Jeff demonstrated his understanding of that from the very first day we started working together. His tools, tips and tricks, “real talk,” and well-timed jokes ensured that my husband’s and my entire wedding planning journey was incredibly FUN and STRESS-FREE. My husband and I are going to look back on this magical time in our lives so fondly and it’s because of Jeff and our dream team.

Jeff, thank you for designing, planning, and executing the wedding AND rehearsal dinner of our dreams. Our family and friends compared our wedding at the Metropolitan Club to Bridgerton and/or the Met Gala and my husband and I will FOREVER be swooning over our most magical wedding weekend. But beyond that, thank you for being a true friend, confidant, and example of how we should all show up in the world.

Jeff Stillwell truly helped us turn our wedding dreams into a reality. He came into our wedding planning process to help us coordinate our vendors and create the perfect timeline for our wedding day. He also has an amazing eye for how the room should look and worked with our florist to ensure the room was designed in a classy, elegant, and beautiful way. I can honestly say our wedding day was perfect, and that was a big part because of Jeff. He motivated the vendors to be their best and kept the day running smoothly and on time.

Not only is Jeff an A+ planner, he is one of the nicest guys in the world! He was always there to check in on my husband and I, and we built a true friendship with him. We are so lucky that he came into our lives and we look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come! It was an honor to work with you, Jeff. Thanks for being there to ensure our wedding day was the best day of our lives.

I highly recommend Jeff Stillwell for a wedding coordinator. I hired him sort of last minute, about 2 months before my wedding, when I started realizing the multitude of decisions to be made & details to organize leading up to the wedding. Jeff thinks of all the small things that you wouldn’t even think of! He cares about the details. He is calm and reliable, his years of experience speak volumes. He communicated effortlessly with our venue. He talked to vendors for me when I was too busy and expressed concerns for me. He helped me make decisions about what was important when trying to stick with my budget. He called in a favor with a vendor when I decided to add a string quartet 2 weeks before my wedding. He is well connected and knows lots of people in the industry! Even after the wedding I would hear from family members & bridal party members little things he did throughout the day!! He was flexible and able to help us easily manage our wedding day timeline when certain aspects took longer than expected. Most importantly, he felt like a friend to me on my wedding day! When I got upset about something he calmed me down. He helped me navigate all the awkward family dynamics. He bustled my dress, brought me food, helped me figure out how to wear my veil!! My family loved him. I can’t say enough good things!!
