Every photographer has a unique photographic voice, and mine has a French accent. I lived and worked as a Fashion, Beauty and Travel photographer in Paris for over 10 years, shooting editorial and cover assignments for magazines like Bazaar, Vogue, Elle, G.Q., Marie Claire, Glamour, and brands like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Billabong and Guess Jeans. It was in Paris that I became Valentino's personal photographer, capturing 5 years of the Designer's fashion shows and private parties. Soon Fashion Editors, Socialites, Actresses and Personalities began hiring me to photograph their events and eventually, their weddings. This is how my love affair with wedding photography and wedding films began.

Years later I bring that same European fashion and beauty photographer's sensibility to every wedding and event my team and I capture, and it's what makes Studio JLK wedding imagery so special. Whether we're capturing a tropical destination wedding or a more sophisticated city invitation, our wedding couples and their guests become our friends, skiing buddies, travel companions and cooking advisors. This is why each wedding we capture has the intimacy and feeling of photographing a friend's wedding. With this mindset we're always sure to have fun with our wedding couples, and their families, and the pictures just flow.
