About
Hello! I’m Abby, owner and lead designer at Sugar Rose Flowers. My team and I are so pleased you’re here and it would be our honor to work with you on your special event. We sincerely care about the people we work with, and we know what a privilege it is to be trusted, whether you’re down the street from us or halfway around the world.
WE THINK FLOWERS ARE PRETTY GREAT.
Here at SRF, we offer full spectrum floral design, from the smallest details to large-scale installations. Our style would best be described as full, abundant, and garden-inspired. We’ll admit it—sometimes there are flowers we just *have* to have for our clients and we can’t help but trek back to the flower market to find a ranunculus of a singular beauty, or a garden rose that will change your taste in flowers forever. We are obsessed with what we do, with the scent of our blooms, and with making your vision come alive.
WE WANT TO KEEP EARTH BEAUTIFUL.
My team and I are committed to excellent service, creating beautiful spaces for our beloved clients, and respecting this gorgeous planet we call home. As of June 2018, we are officially a no-floral-foam company. We don’t use it at all, instead relying on sustainable, recyclable, and/or compostable materials to bring your beautiful vision to life. As a single-use plastic, floral foam is made with some pretty nasty ingredients (formaldehyde and carbon black being a couple of them) that are not only carcinogenic but also terrible for the environment. We also donate or re-purpose as many of our post-event florals as possible.
WE LIKE DOING FUN THINGS WITH AMAZING PEOPLE.
We have a wedding-heavy calendar, but we also work with corporate events and editorial shoots! Need a flower crown bar, a wreath workshop, or a destination photo shoot? We’re here for it. If there’s something we haven’t done before, our first instinct isn’t “that’s way too much work” and “your vision doesn’t make sense.” It’s “how many staple guns do you think we’ll need?” and “Okay, so it’s wild, but life is wild, we’re on board.”
