I wasn’t going to write a review until I realized during Mother’s
Day I did not have one picture of just me and my mom from our wedding and it made me upset. Sue was good at communication and being responsive with any questions and help we needed in the planning process. However, the day of the wedding seemed to be rather chaotic. My husband and I believe our pictures to have come out blurry and in our opinion posed and staged in unflattering angles. We believe to have very few pictures of just me and my husband and very few of our ceremony which was the most important part of our day. We requested sue to provide us with additional images but we those to be poor quality and not much better. It is our opinion that of the 600+ pictures we were provided, we may have about less than 1/4th of them we can use for anything. We only get one wedding day and that moment gone. We believe we did not get the quality photos we paid for. It is our opinion that Sue rushed through the milestones of our day and failed to pose, stage, and direct us like many photographers do with their clients. We had an extremely windy wedding day which has been blamed for not capturing images however we believe that the weather was not a factor to determine the poor quality of our photos we received. It is our opinion that our family portraits were so poorly taken against a white wall that washed all of us out. Sue had told us this was the only place we could take them but our venue was at a large hotel with many other options for backdrops it was clear this was not the best and only option in our opinion. It is our opinion that we have poor family portraits to remember this day by and very few we could even share with our relatives. We are extremely unhappy with our photos It is our opinion that the images from our first look (So far away and only the back of my head captured), ceremony, and even our first dance we all blurry, poor angles, strong flashes of white light from the camera, and all in all poor quality images. We are lucky to have hired a videographer who was able to capture these beautiful missed moments and pause them for us as pictures to use instead. As I look at other photographers photos with beautiful light and soft editing, it saddens us. It is our opinion that we would not recommend this photographer.
