One of us is gluten-sensitive, so we were so glad that Sweet Cakes Bakery could create this beautiful gluten-free cake, with buttercream frosting and lemon curd filling. All the guests loved it -- including the wheat lovers!

So amazing to work with and even more amazing desserts. We had a dessert with two types of cake, two types or bars, and cookies. Guests RAVED about the dessert. They were always super easy and nice to work with. I made many changes based on guest counts and indecisiveness and they never hesitated to make the changes or reach out. Reasonably priced. Allowed a tasting where we tried many desserts. The hard part was pairing down exactly what we wanted because everything was so good! Also wanted to surprise my husband with a little Seahawks; we had a very elegant/simple cake to cut which they made blue and green on the inside. My husband and the guests loved it. Highly recommend sweet cakes!!

We ordered a 3 tiered cake and several cupcakes for our wedding, and were very pleased! It was great to have an amazing, delicious, gluten free (snickerdoodle) cake that no one would have guessed was gluten free! The cupcakes vanished super quickly, and we got so many compliments on the cake. One of my friends' husbands used to bake cakes for a living, and even he was impressed.

The ordering process itself was also great - we met with Susanne (owner of Sweet Cakes), did a tasting, and were sold. We changed our minds a number of times before the wedding, and Susanne was willing to accommodate all of our changes. Susanne was also responsive and helpful throughout the process - I emailed her with a number of questions (e.g. height/width of the cake, delivery logistics, etc.), and she was quick to respond. We also had some special decorations that we wanted on our cake, and Sweet Cakes did a great job of incorporating them.


Bottom line - don't hesitate to go with Susanne and Sweet Cakes for your cake and cupcake needs!
