Sweetgrass Botanicals presses important flowers from the events in your life, to include: Engagements, Weddings, Birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Anniversaries, Graduations, Debutante Balls, Sweet 16 Parties, Christenings, Concert Flowers, and Table Arrangements from Important Suppers.

We coordinate with event planners, brides, debutantes, corporate event planners, and florists to collect flowers to press, then frame them in shadow box frames. The flowers are either mounted on boards stained to look like waterstained parchment, on linen or suede. The names of the celebrants, location and date of the event are stamped in sepia. Then, all is framed in your choice of shadow box frame.

Sara Edi Boyd opened Sweetgrass Botanicals in 2009, was a landscape architect for many years, and who will oversee all the steps in the process of using ancient archival preserving techniques, artfully mounting your flowers and shipping your final piece(s). She is married to Barry Boyd, mother of six boys and lives in Charleston, SC and Winston Salem, NC.

Chelsea Lyssand is a native Charlestonian, and works with Sara Edi to collect, preserve and frame flowers.
