o We were referred to Los Chilangos by our venue, Marionfield Farm. He had nothing but great things to say about all the times they had worked at his venue. Food was one of the areas where we wanted less of our budget to go to because we didn’t care for fancy. We simply wanted good food that got people’s bellies full. In the meet and greet process of picking our food vendor I was in contact with Monica who was very responsive, kind, and a delight to speak with. She listened to our wants and made a recommendation of what she thought would be best. We went with their Taco Buffet and my god we are so grateful we chose Los Chilangos. The food was so incredibly good. We had initially ordered for a guest count of 180 and only received about 140 RSVPs of people coming. We decided last minute to still have the food made to the original amount of 180 guest count and I am so glad we did! We had so much left over and were able to enjoy the leftovers with family a couple days later and it was still so delicious. We received compliments left and right about the food and smoothness of the buffet. A couple of weeks before the wedding Monica and I realized that there was an error on the wedding date they had, but Monica told me not to fret and she was going to figure it out. She called me within a few hours and made me feel confident that it could be pulled off. I am in awe of the wonderful job they did and the kindness of their staff! The only thing I must caution you on when you choose this vendor is that you better take some take home Tupperware to take leftovers to eat that night when you get back to wherever you’re going; you will regret it if you don’t!

We really enjoyed the Mexican food from Los Chilangos on our wedding day. They arrived on time, and helped to prepare the buffet table at our venue. Guests raved about their tacos, salsas and selection of appetizers. We really enjoyed serving our guests excellent food! Highly recommend Los Chilangos!

This vendor confirmed with me prior to the wedding that they would arrive 1 hour before start of service to set up at 4:30. However, on the day of the wedding, they arrived at 5:50 - 1 hour and 20 minutes late. We had been calling them with no response. Finally, they called us at 5:25, and arrived 25 minutes later.

When I emailed to explain what happened, they told me that the planned arrival time was actually 5:00 - but they admitted that this is not what they had confirmed with me. They also explained that there was traffic. However, this still does not explain being late by 50 minutes, even if they had planned to arrive at 5, nor does it explain their lack of communication until 5:25.

Once they did arrive, everything was great - the food was excellent, and service was very fast, so it all worked out in the end. But my advice if you book them is to triple confirm contact information and arrival times!
