I can count on one hand all the things I truly love to do in this world: make images, travel**, meet new people, relish new experiences, and chase beautiful light.

I'm lucky that my job as a wedding photographer involves most, if not all, of these things.

My style is a blend of documentary and lightly posed, yet non-obtrusive and emotive images.

My life revolves around image-making: My undergrad degree is in black & white darkroom photography, and I'm currently in my second year as an MFA Film student. I teach photography at the university level and am the operations manager of the Photography program at American University in Washington, DC.

**I love to travel (18 countries to date!), and am happily available for out-of-state and international weddings.
