Thanks-Giving Square was designed by Philip Johnson, an award-winning architect with an eye for unique design. Built as a monument to gratitude, his walled square sits 15 feet below ground level and is designed to block the sight and sounds of city traffic. The result is a thoughtfully executed, serene space where guests can relax and engage with one another. In the fabulous and intimate Chapel of Thanks-Giving, you can hold your wedding ceremony to include up to 75 guests. This spectacular circular structure is home to the worlds largest and most famous horizontally mounted stained glass window. Created in Chartres, France by renowned artist Gabriel Loire, it is said to represent life's journey as it spirals upward and inward, moving from dark blues and reds to lighter greens and yellows, and finally terminating in the bright white oculus. Impressive yet welcoming, the Chapel of Thanks-Giving providing the perfect setting a celebration of love so extraordinary that neither the celebrants nor the guests will ever forget. If you'd prefer an open-air ceremony, you can use the outdoor Garden of Thanks-Giving to say "I do." Regardless of whether you choose the Chapel or Garden for your nuptuals, you can proceed to the Hall of Thanks-Giving for your reception. This large circular room sits beneath the chapel and can accommodate 75 to 100 guests.
