With modern event spaces and sizable windows, The Alexander Hotel is a stellar indoor and outdoor wedding venue that also is home to a contemporary art gallery. With a pair of event spaces, they can accommodate up to 250 people at a time for an event in the elegant setting.

Our wedding packages are create to include everything you need! For rehearsal dinners, they offer couples exclusive use of the space as well as private or private space and a custom meal menu. They’ll also cover barware, flatware, linens, china and glassware. The Alexander Hotel allows couples to bring in a cake from an outside vendor. Other services and offerings include:

Cuisine
Couples working with The Alexander Hotel, which says that “nothing is more powerful than love,” must hit a minimum spend for food and beverage. Tastings can be set up months in advance so clients may try the food options and make selections well before the big day. If the venue offers fare from the cuisine of interest to you, you must use their caterer; however, if the caterer does not offer the ethnic cuisine you require, you may hire an outside caterer from their list of approved outside ethnic vendors.

Location
It’ll be nice when your guests can recharge after the reception by staying in the same place where they just celebrated. Even sweeter, The Alexander Hotel offers wedding packages that cover a two-night stay in the bridal suite; apart from that, there are special guest-room rates. With 146 guest rooms, 11 suites and 36 residential studios, there are different types of rooms for each guest’s needs, along with free WiFi. There’s also a fitness center, valet service, and covered parking.

Megan who is charge of wedding room blocks was great! She stayed long one day in order to show me the rooms in person and her correspondence via email has been stellar!

Phenomenal!

We have stayed at the Alexander before so it was a no-brainer to use it for our wedding block! The nice thing is they on't charge you for rooms that don't get filled! Many other hotels will make you pay for the rooms that didn't get reserved! They allowed us to do pictures around the hotel after the ceremony and they are gorgeous! They even made sure myself and the groom were on different floors to minimize the chances of us seeing each other! The night before we rented the Platt99 bar for a Welcome Party. The food was delicious, the cocktails were refreshing and the beer was ice cold! They were a pleasure to work with and everything was fantastic!

The Perfect Wedding Day

My experience working with everyone at The Alexander was absolutely phenomenal. Jennifer was extremely helpful in the early stages while trying to figure out pricing and getting everything booked and she answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. My now husband and I live in Delaware full time and it was difficult planning a wedding in another state but everyone we worked with helped to make all the planning as easy as possible! Mariah exceeded all expectations as she helped us with every little detail of planning to make our day perfect. She was easy to get in contact with when I had any questions, she organized set up with all the different vendors that I had coming in both before the wedding day and the day of and made sure that I had everything that I needed throughout the entire experience. I can not say enough good things about her and we truly could not have done everything without her. The catering staff was amazing as well, my bartender Angela was so friendly and fun and the rest of the staff truly helped transform our reception area (Market Table) into more than I could have even envisioned. Angelo and Madison were helping to set it up and made sure everything was perfect along with answering any questions I had and bringing me water before walking down the aisle :) Madison then brought everything up to my room at the end of the night along with all my presents and cards, the top of my cake, champagne, a congratulatory note and even a note to read in a year on our first wedding anniversary! They truly exceeded all expectations and I could not be happier. In addition to the wonderful staff the hotel itself was stunning. We had our ceremony outside in the Plaza and the day turned out to be beautiful. We then went right inside to the Gallery for cocktail hour and then right next door to Market Table for the reception. Every area had its own unique feel and was perfect for each separate occasion. The hotel rooms were clean and had amazing toiletries and the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever slept with. Overall there isn’t one thing that I would change about this amazing weekend and I wish I could relive the day over and over again with the help of the amazing staff that helped make our special day as effortless for us as possible :)
