About
The Barn at Bee Cliff is a tranquil space to host a wedding in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Located in the Cherokee National Forest, on the banks of the Watauga River, right under the Bee Cliff, the property is made up of fourteen fully-furnished cabins, the main barn, and the outdoor pavilion. Surrounded by untouched nature and picturesque views, this venue offers a peaceful space for your wedding day celebrations. With plenty of great fishing spots, amazing trails, and kayaking opportunities, this idyllic location is the ideal place to escape to. Owners Norine and John Allen completed construction in the summer of 2020 and opened the grounds to couples seeking a romantic trip away to celebrate their love.
Facilities and Capacity
Boasting 1,944 square feet of space on the ground level, the barn offers plenty of space for small, intimate ceremonies or large wedding receptions. Attached to the barn is a large covered porch that provides guests with a substantial amount of space to host outdoor events. The high ceiling displays large beams that are tastefully decorated with romantic string lights. John set out to transform the space into a beautiful area where romance can thrive. By reusing wood from an old church, he crafted the barn out of several different types of wood including cedar, knotty pine, red oak, ash, and poplar. The large garage-style doors open up onto the expansive outdoor space, allowing the room to be cooled by the natural air from the Watauga River. The pavilion overlooks the land and nearby forest while offering a setting for photos of the wedding party. The cabins provide cozy rooms for getting ready and overnight stays.
Services Offered
You and your partner will be given a tour of The Barn at Bee Cliff and encouraged to discuss your ideas. The tall trees and natural surroundings create a setting for photos of the wedding party.
