The Barn at Double K Ranch is a wedding venue situated in Onarga, Illinois. Having been restored it to its former glory, this venue includes an array of modern amenities while paying homage to its past.

Facilities and Capacity

The 5,700 square foot barn is great for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and long-lasting receptions. The two-floor wood-peg structure features 40-foot beams, wagon wheel chandeliers, high-ceilings, vintage lightings, a cedar staircase, and more. A portable six-foot cedar bar can also be used throughout your reception, keeping the beverages following as two families rejoice in becoming one. This barn can be configured in a variety of ways and has ample space for 200 guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment. An outdoor patio and firepit can also be used for summertime celebrations as guests enjoy the panoramic views of the Prairie State’s countryside.

You are also welcome to work with outside vendors to help bring your vision to life. The venue’s friendly staff will also help with the setup of all event decorations. A shuttle service can also be provided from the site’s car park for all of your guests.

The barn is perched in the Illinois countryside just 1 hour 30-minutes south of Chicago. To the right, the city of Indianapolis is just a two-hour drive away. Couples and their guests will find many quaint towns and nature walks nearby. For guests traveling from further afield, O’Hare International Airport is a 1 hour 50-minutes drive away.
