Originally built in 1910, the Brentwood is a wedding venue located near the beach in Little River, South Carolina. The property has been renovated and restored since its days as the home of Clarence and Essie Bessent-McCorsley. In this historic setting, couples and guests will be minutes from Myrtle Beach.
While the building has been renovated with modern features, it still contains a timeless presence and offers a charming backdrop for couples hosting their wedding, bridal shower, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, elopement, or reception on the property.
Facilities and Capacity
The Brentwood offers a breathtaking view of historic oak trees where couples can tie the knot in front of their loved ones. With six event spaces and room for up to 200 guests, couples have many options for their wedding. Weddings hosted here can be completely customized to fit your needs, desires, size, and budget.
There are five private indoor dining areas. If you prefer an outdoor setting for your special day, the covered pavilion, koi pond, waterfall, three-tier fountain & many other outdoor features provide the perfect natural backdrop for your wedding.

Perfect Day at the Brentwood
We were lucky enough to get to dine with them a couple days before our wedding, with our families as well. They were so welcoming and we enjoyed probably the best meal we've ever had! The Brentwood is beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for our day.
Planning a destination wedding is nerve wracking. You really have to rely on other people to do the brunt of the work and we were a little nervous about how everything would come together. The second we met Jacque and found out she would be taking care of us on the day of our wedding day, all our worries were gone. Taking care of brides on their wedding day is truly Jacque's calling. She made sure we had everything we needed all day getting ready and her main focus was making our wedding day everything we had envisioned. She put cupcakes, cookies and mints in coolers for us, moved tables, got out extra tables and talked through how everything would work. I could not be more thankful to have spent my wedding day working with Jacque.
The true highlight of our wedding was the food. Three weeks later and we're still getting messages about how our food was probably the best wedding food our guests have ever had. They have everything to make your wedding day perfect and we've already talked about coming back for anniversaries. I encourage you to consider the Brentwood. All couples want to be taken care of on their wedding day and that is their specialty!
