Facilities and Capacity

The outside of the barn is complete with large doors and market lighting that give the venue a warm ambiance. It is a light off-white color, giving it a modern edge and allowing it to blend in seamlessly with your wedding theme. Once you enter the barn, you will find exposed beams and brick walls, adding to the rustic theme of the venue. The high vaulted ceilings are decorated with delicate and shimmering chandeliers. The venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for your ceremony and reception. There is an indoor capacity of 250 for your reception, while outdoor ceremonies can host up to 180 of your loved ones. You are welcome to design the wedding of your dreams in their wide, spacious venue and change layouts to suit your vision. In the upstairs loft area, there are two get-ready rooms so you can prepare for your walk down the aisle with your wedding party. After a night of dining and dancing, hotels are just 15 minutes away in Mathews or Thibodaux, so guests can relax and rest.

The Canefield crew is happy for you to choose and welcome all of your preferred vendors to help bring your vision to life. Caterers and bar service staff can use the catering kitchen on-site and two bars to serve you and your loved ones. Tables can be set up both indoors and outdoors, and linens are included. The venue is equipped with a Bluetooth PA system and microphones for the all-important speeches. A dance floor and space for your DJ or band are included to provide entertainment for your guests. It is a wonderful venue to spend quality time with the people you love most.
