I’m a DJ & Musician and I specialize in celebrations. I’ve been playing weddings for over fifteen years and I love my work! I offer a free in-person meeting, call, or ZOOM to see if I’m the right person to bring your wedding dreams to life.

My services cover any or all aspects of wedding & receptions: Ceremony, Cocktail/Games Hours, Dinner, Toasts and Dancing. My services feature all necessary sound and lighting equipment, wireless mics and a fantastic ceremony PA system (which I love to hide from view: see my “Where’s Waldo/Audio” blog). My lighting rig includes colorful, sound-responsive dance lights, incredible multi-use uplights, inspiring lasers, digital disco-balls and monograms and gobos to get the mood right. My dance sound system features a thumping subwoofer and I proudly employ QSC speakers for the highest quality sound available.

Life Story Intro

The Celebration DJ is a DJ & Live Music service based in Oakland, California. Entertaining weddings since 2006, Brandon loves helping clients bring their dreams to life. He's a professional and fun loving person who takes the time to get to know his clients. Brandon practices Meditation & Tai Chi daily to ensure he's always calm and mentally/physically prepared. He plays Live Guitar, Sings & actually DJ-mixes any styles of music from 1920’s to NOW.

He enjoys meeting with his couples, getting to know them and helping them select music that brings out their love for life & each other. Brandon has been making mixed tapes for friends since age 13, so he naturally enjoys collaborating with couples on their wedding playlists. As a published and award-winning singer/songwriter, Brandon plays live guitar and sings with passion.
