The Chesapeake Inn is a hotel event venue in Urbanna, Virginia. Whether you want a teeny tiny wedding or an old-fashioned wedding on the water, you deserve a special day, and we would truly be honored to help you make your vision come true. We have had wedding parties take over the entire Inn, but we have also helped couples plan a small, intimate celebration in secret. As you plan your event, you can reserve all twelve rooms at the Inn – or just a few rooms for special out-of-town guests. Our garden is the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner, and your approved caterer is welcome to use our kitchen.
We are also happy to organize cocktail receptions or wedding breakfasts in our living room. There are a number of locations nearby for wedding receptions, and we are happy to help you find the perfect place. When you plan your wedding with the Inn, we are literally at your service – we do whatever you need to make your special day a success, whether it’s organizing welcome bags or driving forgotten shoes to the bride (both true stories)!
Several of our spaces are available for your special event. The Rappahannock Room can host up to 40 for a seated dinner or 75 for a standing reception. Our private conference room seats up to 18 around a boardroom table, and our combined lobby, living room, and adjacent spaces can be configured to hold up to 199 guests.
And outside, in our private garden and pebbled lot, the possibilities are almost limitless!
