Originally from Minnesota, John has traveled all over and settled in Chicago. He specializes in oil paintings, and has made live wedding painting a focus in the last few years. With his services, couples will be able to take home a memorable keepsake.

The Chicago Wedding Painter will capture a singular moment of the wedding day and immortalize it on a canvas. His oil paints will also yield the highest quality of detail, color, and realism, ensuring longevity. During the day, John will be present at the venue for a minimum of six hours, offering a unique entertainment factor. Once the painting is complete and dry, John will ship the final painting.

Many wedding painters rush to complete their work in the hours during the reception. To pay so much money for a hurried painting doesn't seem right to me! My work takes time to perfect - as such, I take my paintings home with me and continue to work on them at my studio at home. I usually commit at least 12 hours total to a single painting (including multiple sittings, early mornings and late nights!) to ensure I can deliver you a product you will be proud to hang up and recognize yourself in the art.
