A boutique wedding venue on a historic estate in Westminster, Maryland. The Christian Royer House is a stunning historic homestead located on four lush acres, with a reception tent, charming log cabin, two ceremony sites, pond and a romantic sugar maple lined driveway. Built in 1827, The Christian Royer House is ideal for couples wishing for a ceremony that encompasses a different time and place.

Facilities and Capacity

The Christian Royer House features distinct architecture and idyllic views of the countryside. Couples may utilize either the spacious grounds or ceremony sites located by the pond and in front of the historical estate to host a maximum of 200 guests. Have your reception in our spacious white tent with deck floors and white bistro lights.

Services Offered
Couples who book The Christian Royer House for their festivities benefit from an array of services and amenities. A wedding rental includes use of the bridal and groom suites, a tented reception for 200 guests, tables and chairs, ceremony and much more.

Accomodations

We are a Country Inn with a log cabin on the property available to rent for the night to make your wedding an overnight destination for a limited number of guests. Rent the log cabin as a honeymoon suite the night of your wedding while some friends and family stay in the historic home. Overnight packages available.

Very great people. Awesome venue. Highly recommend.

Awesome. Simply awesome. Highly recommend this venue to anyone. For one, the venue is beautiful and has many options for where you could get married on the property. It's primarily an outdoor venue, but it rained for part of our ceremony and it worked out just fine. However, the highlight of the experience was Jerry and Michelle themselves. They were an absolute delight to work with. They went above and beyond what you'd expect from a venue owner, and we couldn't be more grateful that we had the opportunity to work with them and have them on our team the day of our wedding and the days leading up. I have only good things to say about them and this venue... and the reality is, if for some reason you had a qualm or an issue with something, they would work with you to find a solution! Very great people. Awesome venue. Highly recommend.

Best Investment for our Wedding

The Christian Royer House was the best venue for my wedding! What Michelle & Jerry offer for their couples goes above and beyond anything else I've seen offered from other wedding venues & owners. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, good lighting for getting ready, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. Not only is this venue beautiful, spacious, and historic, but every room (and tent) has been setup to make life easier for the wedding party on the wedding day. We absolutely loved how our wedding turned out and the support Michelle & Jerry gave us was so helpful! Booking them was the best decision we made during the wedding process and highly recommend 100%!

Book Launch Celebration

Michelle and Jerry- the 5/5/24 book launch of Adoption Songs was a success! I cannot tell you the number of messages I received today about how beautiful your venue is and how lovely of people you are. How kind, welcoming, accommodating. Your hospitality, creativity, attention to every detail, guidance on what could work and the ambiance of the incredible Christian Royer House! Just wow. It was a dream come true. The upstairs bridal dressing area was a perfect staging area for my team to get ready after set up. And our guest enjoyed to downstairs game room and main level living area for relaxing. The kitchen was ideal for getting our spread prepared. The venue space was spacious, yet intimate with the heaters on a chilly day. You launched us well! May God continue your bless you as you unselfishly bless others.
