Facilities and Capacity
Open since 1926, the Commons Farm Kitchen holds enough space for indoor and outdoor celebrations of up to 70 guests. It’s historic roadside location and meaningful decor is ideal for engaged duos wanting an intimate location to exchange their vows. Their outdoor venue space includes a spacious patio with wooden picnic tables and benches for relaxing al fresco meals. A wedding arch rests on the grassy lawn, with various mature trees as a natural backdrop. Bench swings are also present, for newlyweds and their wedding party to enjoy the relaxing view. Their indoor space features a floor-to-ceiling natural stone mantle, with a crackling fireplace to add a welcoming aesthetic.
Services Offered
The onsite team can handle your event’s setup and teardown, and can arrange their chairs and tables into any arrangement you prefer. Their skilled servers and bartenders can be present, to care for your guests food and beverage needs. You will be welcome to use outside vendors, from event planners to floral arrangements, to turn your vision into a reality. Along with your special day, the Commons Farm Kitchen can happily host engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and engagement parties.
Cuisine
With their specialty in Santa Maria style BBQ and Portuguese dishes, the in-house culinary team will happily cater for any happy couple’s event. They use fresh ingredients either from their own farm or local to Capay Valley, to maintain their farm-to-table mission. Some of their main courses include grass-fed burgers, pulled pork, and lamb racks. Plenty of their meat entrees are made on their open oak wood barbecue pit to achieve mouth-watering flavors. Their dishes can also be customized to accommodate guests’ dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, halal, and vegetarian.
