Facilities and Capacity

With so much space both inside and outside, this property is brimming with room for the entire wedding party - whether you are planning a large event or not - to take in the day’s atmosphere, emotion, and significance.

For ceremonies, a five-acre pond area provides a splendid setting for the happy couple to say their vows, while also drinking in the naturally beautiful views of the surroundings. Here, a large stage sits on the water for the newlyweds-to-be to get married in style. Featuring a long wooden deck that acts as the aisle, there is ample seating available for several close friends and family to share in your iconic moment. An unforgettable way to tie the knot, the lake offers a terrific place for photos once the couple has been joined in matrimony.

Elsewhere, there are other spaces for more secluded and intimate ceremonies to take place such as the property’s piers. A beach is also available for couples and their guests to gather for a romantic ceremony. Thanks to the expansive open-air spaces, there is no real maximum capacity for outdoor weddings.

The building itself is the perfect haven for the wedding party to return for the reception celebration. Inside, wooden decor is all around - the walls, chairs, and tables are a combination of light and dark woods. There is a great deal of room in the main building for 250 people to dine while seated.

A stage inside provides a terrific platform for your chosen musical entertainment to command the room from. Lighting overhead provides a magical touch as the space is given a soft twinkling silver hue in parts.

History

The history of Swing Gate Farms DBA - The Crawfish Shack began back in 2001 when the founders started cooking fresh crawfish. With no seating available, they took it upon themselves to create some. After purchasing almost 25 acres of land, The Crawfish Shack gradually evolved from a wooded area to one that now boasts a beach, lakeside views, and a location that could easily be your dream wedding venue.
