About

The Dr. Stanley M. and Dorothy Truhlsen Campus Events Center located in Omaha's Blackstone District. Housed in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education on the University of Nebraska Medical Center campus, the Events Center features modern architecture with neutral colors throughout, a beautiful atrium with large glass windows, a spacious ballroom that can accommodate up to 340 guests for a dinner and 500 for a cocktail reception, and an experienced and attentive events staff to assist in your planning process. This is the ideal location to host your unique event!

We could not have been more pleased with the Truhlsen Center as our reception location. It comfortably fit our guests (300+) and there was more than enough room for a large dance floor. Candace was so much help to us, as she produced the floor plan, coordinated with vendors, assisted with the set up and take down, etc. We can't speak highly enough about her.
