Everything was Perfect!!! Natalie, Leia and wait staff were so great!! The Chef did an amazing job on the food!!

Our wedding was beautiful. With that being said, our wedding was only beautiful due to the decorations and time I spent planning everything! The venue is nice, the surroundings are very pretty, and the staff was sweet, but I think everything could have been better. The events manager was sweet, but she dropped the ball! She was the middle man between myself and a wedding rental store and that was a mess!! The drapery I wanted did NOT happen because the events manager said she would take care of it, but never did. I asked for a gold cake stand and when she said all they had was silver, I told her I didn't want to rent a silver one, but... it got rented anyways and we had to pay for a cake stand we did not use. We were told one price for the linens we rented, but had to pay almost double for them. The door i was suppsed to walk through to walk down the aisle was tied shut so i had to enter through a side door, which was extremely tacky since the flowers were all along the path to the door that was closed. And, please don't get me started on the food. We ordered steaks and chicken for our guests with side dishes and it was far from great! The potatoes were raw, half of the guests didn't get the bacon wrapped green beans whatsoever, and we ordered a wine sauce to go with the steaks and nobody got that at all! We paid for all of our guests to get soda or tea with their dinner, but the only thing everyone got served was water. Even through all of that, we had a good night. We just had to throw up our hands and just enjoy what we could. Also, we were kind of pushed out of the door over an hour and a half before our time was up!! And, lastly, they tried to charge us more for several things, had my husband not said anything, they would have got away with it, and they still charged us for drinks we didn't get!! I will not recommend the Gadsden Country Club to people I know because I know what happened on my own wedding day!! I wish I would have chose a different venue!!
