The Groome Inn is a historic bed-and-breakfast wedding venue outside Greensboro, North Carolina. The inn is settled on a nine-acre property just minutes from downtown Greensboro and High Point, North Carolina. The farmland was bought in 1888 and the gorgeous home was built in 1890. The staff strives to serve warm, southern hospitality to each and every one of their guests during any event.

Facilities and Capacity
The facility is able to host up to 200 guests outside and 60 inside for your wedding celebration. They have five different event spaces for couples to choose from, and offer both covered and uncovered outdoor options. The Groome Inn has plenty of on-site parking and is wheelchair accessible to ensure all of your guests are able to join in on the fun. In addition to your wedding ceremony and reception, the inn can host your engagement party, bridal shower, and rehearsal dinner. During the week, the property is also available to host elopements for up to 25 people. To keep your day running as smoothly as possible, there are get-ready rooms available to the wedding party so you won’t have to rush from one place to the next.

Services Offered

Additionally the staff provides set up services for your wedding day so you have one less thing to worry about accomplishing. The property has wireless internet and on-site staff during your rehearsal dinner and event, and also provides event items for you and your guests. Event items offered include an altar or arch to get married under, round and rectangle tables, garden chairs, and benches for the ceremony. Additional items such as tents, furniture, and more can also be rented for the big day.

The Groome Inn allows couples to bring in outside vendors for their big day. The property can provide you and your guests with bar services if you choose to use their team. Their bartenders can serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at an open or cash bar. Accommodations
If you choose to rent the property for the entire weekend, you’ll receive three bedrooms and one honeymoon suite for two nights. The rooms are charming and provide a space for you and your guests to relax and unwind after the wedding festivities. The entire house can accommodate up to 10 adults and five children overnight. You’ll have access to their free wireless internet as well as breakfast in the mornings.
