PROS:
The Ballroom is a lovely venue with it's beautiful chandelier, elegant pillars, shuttered windows and the lovely foyer. I love the old fashioned look of it. and it made for a beautiful reception. Aesthetically the only real improvement it needs is the floor needs to be well buffed and polished. It is rather scratched and kind of dull looking, and (absolutely gross along the edges on one side).
Plenty of tables and chairs and good size room.
A bar on wheels so you can put it where ever you want.
Dividers on wheels to block off part of the room if you want, or to hide the elevator doors in the foyer.
The coordinator Brooke was very nice, helpful and available.

CONS:
Even after their cleaning people supposedly cleaned the floor twice, it was still filthy.
There is NO kitchen, not even a sink and refrigerator/freezer (2 things I feel are basic and essential). We had to use use coolers for everything which meant my husband had to drop off the cold drinks and ice the morning of the wedding.
Most of the round tables have cross bars between the legs on 2 sides of the table, so even though they are 5 ft tables and should comfortably fit 8 people, only 6 really fit comfortably.
5 - About half of the chairs have tears in the vinyl.

The cons caused us a lot more work, and the filthy floors were very embarrassing. We had our wedding on a Sunday so we were able to rent it for half price. As pretty as it is, there is no way I think it would be worth the full price the way it is.
