Amazing Customer Service and Unbeatable Food!
Raquel was so kind and patient. Her clear communication and expertise were invaluable and made catering one of the most enjoyable and straightforward parts of the wedding planing process. The entire Onion Tree team took such good care of us. They were all incredibly kind and attentive to all our guests.
AND the food was AMAZING!! We have received SO MANY complements. Lots of people told us it was the best food they have ever had a wedding. There were lots of interesting and delicious options for all of our guests with their variety of food restrictions. I cannot give particular food recommendations because literally every option is incredible. The day of the wedding went off without any problems. We didn't have to think about catering at all! We just got to enjoy the food and company. We had an outdoor cocktail hour and a semi-indoors dinner reception, both with hot food.
We would HIGHLY recommend the Onion Tree Catering for your wedding!

Meet Raquel Wolf-Jadeja - co-owner of The Onion Tree and The Onion Tree Catering. Since the year 2000, Raquel has been planning events and has served Brides and Grooms throughout Long Island as not just a Wedding Planner but also a Banquet Manager - having managed 4 catering facilities and then went on to own 7 restaurants and now a Catering company - The Onion Tree Catering.
Raquel is known for her warm manner, expert knowledge and kind heartedness. Working with Raquel will ease any stress you may experience surrounding your big day. She is more than a caterer. She is an all around wedding professional ready to share her exprience and know-how with you.
Chef Jay Jadeja is the owner of The Onion Tree and The Onion Tree Catering. Born and raised in Gujarat, India, Jay loves to go back to his roots with Indian cooking and imbibe his worldly cooking experiences in all he serves. After leaving India as a teenager, he went on to Hotel School in Switzerland and from there is lived and worked in 8 different countries and he speaks 9 languages. Besides his love for Indian cuisine, Jay has a passion for authentic Italian Pizza (he is a nster at both Napoletana as well as Pizza Romana), Mexican Tacos, as well as ingredients and dishes from around the globe.
In addition to managing Banquet Halls, he and Raquel have owned 7 restaurants together in NYC and Long Island.
