So glad I found these two!
The day of, they oversaw vendors and set-up; transported decor, dresses, and desserts; helped manage food for dietary restricted guests; coordinated the late-night snack delivery and set-up; and went above and beyond to pack up all our things at the end of the night and ensure they made it home with us. Our couple's entrance at the reception didn't go exactly as planned, so they along with our other vendors coordinated a tunnel with our guests later in the night that was a total surprise to us and made for a special memory as well as amazing photos.
I would recommend any couple work with Rachel & Emily! Our day was everything we had hoped in large part thanks to them.

Rachel has a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Art. Although she loves science, her passion is art and design. She dreams of one day building a barn to host weddings and other events, and continue to grow The Opal Collective to reach couples throughout the state of Kansas. Rachel is very organized and detail-oriented which is evident in her designs as each event has a personal touch making them unique to the bride and groom.
Emily went to school for Graphic Design and has an eye for up and coming styles and trends. Her dream is to become a full-time wedding planner and travel the country designing beautiful events, making couples' wishes come true. Emily is great at envisioning the whole picture and how to bring different elements together in a cohesive, well-planned design.
Julia is a student at the University of Kansas, majoring in journalism and strategic communications and minoring in business. She has always been a creative person who loves exploring different mediums of design and testing her eye for aesthetics. Her interest in wedding design has steadily grown since dreaming of her own wedding at a young age, and she is happy to be a part of the wedding vendor community in Kansas City.
