The Powelton Club is a wedding and event venue in Newburgh, New York. They are a full-service, private country club located just 50 miles from New York City. Their facility sits in the heart of the Hudson River Valley. The country club was established in 1882 and is one of the oldest golf and tennis clubs in the United States. Their club features a Devereux Emmet designed 18-hole golf course, five American Red Clay tennis courts, two swimming pools, and a beautiful clubhouse.

Facilities and Capacity
The clubhouse has carpeted floors and neutral colored walls to create an inviting place for you and your guests. Their event space features a fireplace in the living room and a main dining room with a moveable wood dance floor and beautiful golf and pool views. Events can also be hosted on the pool deck or balcony.

The Powelton Club can host your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, engagement party, showers and other wedding events. They offer all-inclusive packages, catering and bar services, event planning, get ready rooms, set up and clean up. All their wedding packages include on-site wedding planning services, set up, five hour open bar with signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, champagne toast and tableside beverage service, cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, plated or stationed reception, wedding cake and cake cutting, ceremony and set up, bridal suite and bridal attendant, votive candle decor, dance floor, access to grounds for pictures and a private menu pasting. Packages also include event items include china, glassware, flatware, table linens in assorted colors, tables and chairs. The Powelton Club general manager and certified wedding coordinator work with you to discuss, plan and execute a flawless wedding day with seamless events.

The Powelton Club has an exceptional catering team that works closely with you to plan custom menus for all your events. They have an extensive list of hors d'oeuvres, stations, appetizers, salads, entrees, sides and desserts. They also have upgrades including a dessert station, edible favor station, customized cocktail napkins, ice carvings, chocolate-covered strawberries or ice cream served with wedding cake, chair covers and sashes, overlay tablecloths and additional hours without or without open bar. The bridal suite package includes customized breakfast and lunch menus, bottles of champagne or prosecco, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, fruit platter, cheese and cracker tray and extended bridal attendant services.
