I highly recommend the Scarlet Runner for your wedding caterer! Hilary and her team provide an truly unique gourmet menu for your guests. She is unlike any wedding caterer I have experienced, with incredible farm to table food that is so far above the norm for a wedding reception. Everyone who came to our reception raved about the food. On top of this, Hilary was professional and extremely accommodating. Additionally, Hilary's associate, Bonnie ran our bar and she was incredible! If you are looking for a menu that is not only unique, but also delicious, try the Scarlet Runner.

My (now) husband and I have been vegan for a number of years and making sure our wedding was completely vegan as well was crucial to us. The Scarlet Runner was initially recommended to us by a friend, however, a quick search does provide their name under "vegan friendly". This team also specializes in vegetarian, gluten-free, and a wide range of knowledge for different types of ethnic dishes. They just make downright freakin' amazing food!!!

When we explained our goals, Hilary was able to craft a menu filled with so many delicious options to satisfy any vegan/non-vegan alike! In addition to providing exceptional entrée and hors d'oeuvres options, we also were able to utilize her pastry chef for our wedding cake. They can seriously do it all!

The Scarlet Runner's catering style is very wholesome and clean ingredients and. all of the ingredients used are sourced from local farms. They also do a lot of different catering events and community aid. At one point, they were catering events at a local animal sanctuary where we were able to attend and share a vegan meal amongst local Lancaster folks! It was incredible and such a wonderful time (and a great opportunity to enjoy more of their amazing food).

After the wedding, all of our guests could not stop raving about the food -- most of which were non-vegan guests... They couldn't believe it! It made us so happy. We just could not have asked for a more perfect team!

It was so wonderful working with Hilary and her team over the course of the last two years and getting to know Hilary herself a little bit more on a personal level. We adore her and her team and look forward to working with them in the future! We cannot thank you enough for such a memorable meal!

Oh my god, Hilary and all the folks at scarlet runner are fantastic. They were so kind and flexible when we needed to postpone our wedding due to covid, and again when we had a vendor mishap and needed bartenders and mixers without much notice.
The food was absolutely delicious - we had guests repeatedly tell us that it was the best wedding food they’d had - and the desserts were equally as wonderful. We had several vegetarian guests who raved that they had gotten a veg entree that was hearty. My sister actually nearly forgot to get dessert because she had finished her entire dinner and “was actually full at a wedding.”
We got to just sit back and enjoy our wedding, and stuff our faces, thanks to scarlet runner!
