I worked with Holly at The Spare Room for my wedding. She was fantastic from start to finish! She put up with both me and my Mother (serious A types) with a smile. She also had a great deal of knowledge about what colors would look good with my theme, how many tables we would need to fit everyone comfortably, and the best way to set up decorations to make everything sparkle.

The day of, the food was wonderful. We had two meats, salad, mixed veggies, and dinner rolls and people are STILL talking about it a year later. We had more than enough to feed all of our guests and some people even went up for seconds. The most impressive thing about Holly, was that she really took our concerns about food allergies seriously. My sister has many food intolerances and Holly was great about making a special plate up just for her so that she could enjoy dinner without worrying all night. She also made up two plates for guests that I knew would be coming during the dance portion, but who would also be coming straight from work.

The servers were well trained, quiet, and efficient. I hardly knew they had come until all of a sudden dinner plates had been replaced with pieces of cake. The bartender was also really good about my guests who definitely worked her hard.

Holly is incredibly flexible and she's always very pleasant. She was great about reassuring me that everything would go great, and it did. She was willing to get her hands dirty too by shooing the kids off the dance floor for me while we were eating and doing pictures. If you want it, she will do her best to make it happen.

My folks were so impressed with the price, that my Dad talked his boss into hosting their company Christmas party at The Spare Room. I would recommend Holly and The Spare Room in a heartbeat. They are in a small town and they all definitely live up to the whole small town hospitality mentality.
