Born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, Pam is an accomplished Event planner/producer who has built a name for herself and her company Events by Pamela Joy in the New England Event Industry. Pam has over thirty-three years of experience and has worked in several aspects of the event industry. Pam has been recognized as a Couples’ Choice Award Winner by WeddingWire the past several years in a row (2016-2020).

Prior to devoting herself to her business full-time, she worked, planned, and consulted on events in her various roles she held for the Amherst school system.

Pam’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination and contagious enthusiasm have earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as an event planner. Pam will execute your concepts flawlessly while maintaining a pleasant, calm and helpful demeanor to ensure an amazing experience for you and your guests.

Pam is an active member of the event industry and believes in giving back to the community and industry through volunteering, sponsorship and creating standards of excellence and raising the bar of professionalism. She is an active member of the Wedding Business CEO Club.

In her spare time, Pam is a wife and mother to two amazing children and a grandmother to an awesome grandson. She enjoys family time, photography, travelling, dancing and enjoys listening to A cappella music whenever she can.

Tom is passionate about events and Events by Pamela Joy! In addition to his full-time career with the Amherst School System he enjoys being part of this creative team as Crew Chief (a.k.a Go-fer).

As our in-house expert on technical matters, prop and stage handling, truck and trailer maneuverings, chief chair set up person, comic relief and added muscle for large scale events he is definitely an asset to the EBPJ team. I

In Tom’s spare time he enjoys long walks in the woods, riding his ATV, playing with his grandson, hanging with family and friends, yard work, golfing and camping.
