The Westendorff is a wedding venue and rehearsal dinner location based in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. As a classic banquet hall, it is ideal for couples who want a private city celebration. The venue boasts a unique, warm and inviting vibe that your guests will adore.

Facilities and capacity

The first floor of The Westendorff Building features Stella’s, a modern Greek restaurant. The second floor offers a 1,200-square-foot dining room made out of a traditional early 1900's home. The space features natural wood tables, wooden beams and a private bar and bathroom. During cocktail hour, guests can also enjoy a 500-square-foot covered balcony. Couples can accommodate up to 90 guests.

History

The Westendorff Building was built in 1905. It was the former home of a local bookseller named Benjamin Warren. In 2011, the building went through a major renovation. This included full restoration of the original stucco facade, fireplaces, wood trim, entry prism glass and more.

The rehearsal dinner venue is located near the College of Charleston and the visitor’s center. It is 19 minutes from Charleston International Airport and 44 minutes from Francis Marion National Forest. In the local area, guests can visit beaches and parks.
